These are highlights from my resume:

+ Earned Master of Design in Designed Objects from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

+ Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University, College of Human Ecology.

+ Received Certificate in Interdisciplinary Design Strategy from the Institute without Boundaries; Worked with a multi-disciplinary design studio of 15 international designers on the World House Project to re-imagine and design housing that meets the global demands for shelter.

+ Teach undergraduate students as sessional faculty at the Ontario College of Art & Design University (OCAD U); created the curricula and teach two required courses and one elective course: Think Tank, Professional Practice, and Internship, within the Faculty of Design.

+ Worked closely with client, Now House, to evolve its product offering and business model from a public demonstration project to a unique consumer-focused product.

+ Participated in the design and creation of an interactive exhibit and marketing event during Toronto's Nuit Blanche. Over the course of 3.5 hours, hosted over 1,700 people in the Now House studios to learn about and engage with the Now House Project.

+ Worked with client to create a companion website to his newly published book, Getting to Plan B; Based on the success of the first project, built two additional sites, one for the third edition of his book, The New Business Road Test, and the other, a personal site promoting his increasingly popular seminars and speaking engagements.

+ Consulted with Oma Chiropractic, a Toronto-based health care clinic to identify goals for the overall practice in the short term and long term. Analyzed space usage and the work flow, created design interventions to assist client with reaching desired goals.

+ Designed, implemented and coordinated first regional microfinance program in Western New York, which included authoring several successful local, state, and federal grants totaling over $1,000,000.

+ Maintained a successfully performing loan portfolio with low default rate; managed an investment portfolio of over $500,000 in Toronto.

+ Led an international group of designers, architects and public policy representatives to design a revitalization strategy for a priority neighborhood in Toronto.

+ Created, produced and hosted podcast,

+ Named as semi-finalist & honorable mention prize, awarded $30,000 in Ruckus Nation Design Competition; named as inventor in a filed utility patent

+ Chosen as finalist in NetSquared Mobile Challenge, as a featured project asked to present and compete for funding at N2Y4 Conference in Silicon Valley.

+ Picked as semi-finalist in Basil Hayden Tastemakers Chicago Design
Contest, awarded $2,500 to produce prototype chair.

+ Exhibited photography work in the Toronto CONTACT Photography Festival as well as in a number of galleries in Toronto and New York.

+ Exhibited design work in galleries in Chicago and Japan.

+ Technical skills include: Rhinoceros 3D, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, video/audio production and editing, Dreamweaver and other website/blog development tools, hand & digital animation, Microsoft Office, advanced photography, black & white/color darkroom and digital proficiency, physical and digital prototyping and model making (CNC routing, rapid prototyping, vacuum forming, laser cutting, wood and metal shop fabrication).
